Suhr have created the perfect S type. The Paulownia body is incredibly lightweight and shares tonal characteristics with Ash. The Birdseye maple neck is beautifully figured and adds brightness and spank to this S. This is the type of guitar you can play for hours on end, coming in under 7lbs. This Suhr Classic S amps up the vintage features all guitarists love with a modern twist. The V63 single coils use magnets from the same company that Fender used in the early 60s. The neck and middle positions give you all the warm sweet sounds of an older axe with no noise, thanks to the SSCII system. Suhr's DSV humbucker has a dynamic vintage voice really making this a versatile instrument. The 3 Tone Burst is such a killer look and highlights the Paulownia woodgrain.
